Does Craigslist Charge You for Craigslist Phone Verified Accounts?

Craigslist does not charge you if you use your own phone number to make a verified account. Verifying your account is simply to do just that, verify that you are who you say you are. For some reason there are rumours going around that Craigslist charges or somehow makes people pay for these verified accounts. This will not happen. Again, your phone number is used for verification purposes only. The main reason for this is that only valid US numbers can be used. Obviously there are ways around this and you don't have to live in the USA to use Craigslist Phone Verified Accounts. No matter if the verified account you use was made by you or purchased, Craigslist will not try and make you pay any kind of fee at anytime. It is just to make it difficult for spammers.
